Workplaces that encourage a sense of belonging are becoming inc

  • In addition to having a place to work, individuals who belong to coworking spaces can participate in seminars, panels, networking events, and other activities. Some of these venues will be especially welcoming to certain demographic groups.

    Examples include programs that are tailored to the way women work and that allow them to participate in programs that focus on leadership, civic involvement, and other topics. Coworking spaces are likely to become more specialized over time, and they may begin to cater to specific industries or crafts.

While Belcher was heavily involved in the revision of 8.02X Physics II at MIT, the other two investigators were solely responsible for the development of 8.01X Physics I: Classical Mechanics, which was offered in the first semester.
